Sidewalk Leveling
Hot temps and lack of moisture can cause concrete surfaces to shrink, crack, and experience a variety of issues. This could eventually cause the surface to sink or settle into the earth, leaving you with an un-level concrete surface. This isn't just an eyesore on your property, but it can also pose a serious tripping hazard to your family and to anyone who happens to visit your home.
It is important that your sidewalk is level, flat, safe, and free of any cracks. If you have noticed these problems on your property, it is important for you to give us a call as soon as possible to schedule a time for a consultation and repair work. We make use of a concrete raising technique known as polyjacking.
Polyjacking is similar to mud or slabjacking, and it makes use of a polyurethane foaming material rather than a messy concrete slurry mix. The foam is inserted into small holes drilled into the damaged sidewalk slab. The foam expands and is able to fill up the entire void beneath the surface. The force of the foam pushes the sidewalk slab back up into place where it needs to be - level, safe, and secure. The foaming material cures within 15 minutes and can be walked on afterward.
